SI-TEX SP-70 IS A VERSATILE, ECONOMICAL AUTOPILOT FOR OUTBOARD, The SI-TEX SP-70 Automatic Pilot is designed for center console and cuddy cabin boats in the 20 to 35-foot range and is
easily installed on outboard, inboard and sterndrive powerboats with a hydraulic or quadrant steering systems. It can add value to your boat and relaxation to your cruising and fishing activity.
INBOARD AND STERNDRIVE POWERBOATS
Waterproof control unit can be used as a fixed-mount control head or quickly and easily removed from bracket and used as a handheld portable. Additional steering stations can be added with optional plug-in connector.
The SP-70 features a bold backlit LCD display of course, rudder angle and operating mode. For precise steering, there's automatic-trim control, ten selectable levels of rudder sensitivity and
Loran/GPS precise course-line navigation along routes.
The SP-70 system includes: control unit, fluxgate compass sensor, processor unit, hydraulic pump and the choice of a rotary-rudder feedback (for
inboard and sterndrive boats) or a linear-rudder feedback for outboard powerboats. The versatile SI-TEX SP-70S Autopilot, using a linear actuator, is also available for sailboats with quadrant steering systems.
